A creative morning

Our Wednesday started off with a nice quiet breakfast together.  We then met up with some friends at our favorite summer play place, The Children's Museum.  Ava stopped to take a picture with the dragon on the way in.  We met up with Ava's friend Hadley, and they wasted no time getting started.

Ava and her friend Maggie thought it would be funny to act like little babies together.  We covered them up with blankets and they made fake baby cries.  Love those girls.

After an early lunch, Ava played on the sand table and continued the fun in the Art Room.  Blue was the color of the day, and Ava had fun painting the castle (and getting blue paint in her hair)!

We then discovered today's art project, which was a Father's Day Tie for daddy.  Ava colored the paper, and I helped cut out the tie, complete with a poem for daddy.  Too cute.

Just when I thought it was time to leave, Ava decides to drag me all the way to the top of the climber!  We will see how much longer I am physically able to do this!

She even made me go down through the "hamster holes" with her. She did manage to go back up them by herself, so who knows maybe I will get a break!

Finally we were headed out after a very busy morning, and we stopped by daddy's work to give him his present. Ava was very Proud of the special tie she made for daddy.
